According to ( http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/breaking/chi-red-lobster-to-expand-nonseafood-menu-add-cheaper-dishes-20121001,0,5736083.story ), Red Lobster is changing their menu to include more non-seafood items, as wel as cheaper     meal choices.

Some of the menu expansion changes introduce chicken, pork, three new salad choices, and roasted vegetable skewers into your mix of choices.  According to the  article (http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/breaking/chi-red-lobster-to-expand-nonseafood-menu-add-cheaper-dishes-20121001,0,5736083.story), 25% of the menu will feature non-seafood items (up drastically from 8%) and 60% of the dishes will be of a less costly nature (up from 40%).  Traffic to the nationwide restaurant chain has declined over the years and the owners feel the changes are positive and necessary in keeping with today's economy.
